O Iron Maiden ou Maiden é uma banda de heavy metal, do movimento musical chamado NWOBHM, (New Wave of British Heavy Metal), formada em Londres, Inglaterra, em 1975, pelo baixista Steve Harris. A banda já vendeu mais de 100 milhões de álbuns por todo o mundo, ganhou o Ivor Novello Award em 2000 e Grammys. A banda sempre está presente em listas das maiores bandas de rock da história e foi adicionada à Calçada da Fama de Hollywood durante a turnê 2005.

O trabalho do Maiden influenciou durante toda sua existência diversas bandas de power metal, Thrash Metal, Speed metal e Death metal. Eles são citados como maior influência por bandas como Hazy Hamlet, Slayer, Angra, Helloween, Death, Megadeth, Dream Theater e Umphrey’s McGee.

Iron Maiden até agora lançou 14 álbuns de estúdio, 2 “best of” e 5 álbuns ao vivo. Seu décimo quarto álbum de estúdio, A Matter of Life and Death, foi lançado recentemente.

O Maiden já integrou vários grandes eventos, notavelmente Rock in Rio, Ozzfest com o Black Sabbath, Monsters of Rock e o Festival de Reading e Leeds.

Nirvana foi uma banda de Grunge fundada no ano de 1987 em Aberdeen, Washington. A sua música foi inspirada no Punk Rock, no Rock Alternativo, no Hard Rock e foi chamada Grunge pela imprensa e meios de comunicação da época. O grupo se desfez em 1994 com a morte de seu líder e vocalista, Kurt Cobain. Muitos críticos e historiadores aclamam a banda como sendo a mais representativa da década de 90. Discografia Completa Lynyrd Skynyrd

Lynyrd Skynyrd é uma lendária banda de Southern rock estadunidense. A banda alçou fama na década de 70 sob a liderança do vocalista e compositor Ronnie Van Zant até sua morte, juntamente com outros integrantes, em um acidente aéreo em 1977 em McComb, Mississippi.

O Lynyrd Skynyrd surgiu em 1964, em Jacksonville - Flórida. Na época, Ronnie VanZant era amigo de Bob Burns, Gary Rossington e Allen Collins. Eles resolveram montar uma banda e começaram a fazer bons shows locais. Depois de passarem por inúmeras formações e muitos nomes, eles resolveram adotar o nome de "Leonard Skinner". Leonard era um professor de ginástica dos então garotos, que vivia suspendendo-os por terem um visual mais 'rocker'. A escola que eles estudavam era muito conservadora e não deixava que seus alunos usassem esse tipo de visual. Certo dia, num show, Ronnie VanZant fez o anúncio e perguntou a platéia se eles gostaram do nome. A aceitação foi imediata, por causa da fama do professor. Depois desse show, eles mudaram para Lynyrd Skynyrd, e aí estava o nome de uma das maiores bandas da história. Depois de muitas formações, centenas de shows e muitas demos gravadas, com quase 10 anos de banda, eles conseguem lançar seu primeiro disco, o Pronounced 'leh-'nerd 'skin-'nerd. O resto, é história...
